There are a few exclusive services that we or our resellers/dealers and service partners offer included with your KenntekPOS system, thanks to the use of current technology.

To provide these services, broadband internet access is required, however the costs associated with a DSL or Cable Modem are easily recouped by the level of service that can be provided. We, our resellers/dealers, or our service partners can assist you in setting up a broadband account if you do not already have one.

First, daily, off-site backups can be run over your broadband internet connection. Hard drive space is set aside on a secure server to receive your daily backups. This is great for a few reasons:

• No annoying tapes to lose or forget to take home;
• No need to remember to back up data...an up-to-date copy is always available;
• No need to remember to change a tape every day.

Another reason for high-speed internet access is for troubleshooting. When receiving a call, a technician can connect to your system within seconds via high-speed internet connection, rather than having to rely on a slow, outdated modem. A technician can then walk you through a procedure or help with a menu issue immediately, rather than having to wait for someone to be available to come on-site.
